I caught Grandpa singing the song "If I Were a Merry Bird" at the nursing home. There's a little extra noise because he was sitting next to the elevator. Not sure why! It's pretty fun to listen to.
I thought the same thing. Actually that's why I recorded it. The last few times he's sung that I've noticed the melody difference. I wanted to remember how he sang it. Not sure where the other melody came from.
